Toyota Recall 2025: 591,000 Vehicles Affected by 12.3-Inch Dashboard Malfunction

Toyota has launched a major safety campaign in September 2025, recalling approximately 591,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a 12.3-inch dashboard recall affecting both Toyota and Lexus models. The issue involves a Toyota infotainment malfunction where the digital display may remain blank at startup, hiding critical warning indicators.

Affected models include the Camry, RAV4, GR Corolla, 4Runner, Venza, Crown, Crown Signia, Grand Highlander, Tacoma, and Highlander. Lexus vehicles such as the RX, LS, and TX are also part of the recall, with the Lexus RX display issue drawing particular concern due to its popularity in the premium SUV segment.

What Toyota Will Do?

Toyota and Lexus dealers will inspect the vehicles and either update the software of the combination meter or replace the unit with an improved version. Notifications will begin by mid-November 2025 as part of the broader Toyota safety campaign September 2025.
