Toyota Canada February sales results
Toyota just had a big month for electrified cars in Canada, and here’s the skim‑friendly version:
Electrified leads the way:
Electrified models made up 55.9% of all Toyota Canada Inc. sales in February.
The Toyota bZ battery electric vehicle hit an all‑time monthly record, with sales up 1228% year‑over‑year.
Hybrid all‑stars (big YOY jumps):
Camry Hybrid: up 103.3%
Tacoma Hybrid: record, up 38.7%
Crown Signia: up 42.9%
RAV4 PHEV: up 22.1%
Grand Highlander Hybrid: record, up 63.5%
Sienna: up 12.4%
Lexus NX 450h+: record, up 137.9%
Lexus TX Hybrid: record, up 10.9%
Battery EVs (BEVs):
Toyota bZ: up 1228.0% YOY, all‑time monthly record.
Lexus RZ: up 244.4% YOY, record February.
Overall February sales:
Toyota Division:
12,870 units sold (down 7.6% YOY).
Electrified vehicles = 55.7% of Toyota sales.
Lexus Division:
2,042 units sold (down 9.8% YOY).
Electrified vehicles = 56.8% of Lexus sales.
Bottom Line
Even though total Toyota and Lexus volumes dipped a bit, electrified vehicle sales in Canada are booming, and Toyota and Lexus hybrid and BEV performance keeps getting stronger.
