At the 80th Montreal International Auto Show, the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) revealed its highly anticipated list of the 12 best vehicles in Canada for 2025. This announcement serves as a major guide for Canadians buying a new car, especially as auto choices become more diverse across gas, hybrid, and electric models.

Chosen from over 600 ballots by 48 expert jurors who drive and evaluate each vehicle under real Canadian conditions, AJAC’s awards are widely regarded as the most trusted in the country

• Electric Utility Vehicle of the Year – Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, Kia EV9, Mazda CX-70 PHEV
